This free to attend baby & toddler group runs every Thursday morning (during term time) at the Kingsley Holt Centre, Varied activities for the children and a healthy snack. Come along to meet other Mums. Close to Cheadle, Leek and Ashbourne.

The class is for all abilities – the exercises are designed for people to take them at their own level of strength and flexibility.

There will be a general warm up and then some chair yoga – both sitting, and standing using the chair for support.

For some fun for the last 10 minutes, I usually teach some basic dance moves for people to embrace their inner ‘Strictly’!

Emphasis is on an enjoyable, no pressure, non-judgemental environment for people to improve their fitness levels for health benefits. No need to book, just turn up.

Easter Fayre Saturday 28th March

This year’s Easter Fayre takes place on Saturday 28th March from 11am till 2pm.  There will be stalls & games, a raffle with fantastic prizes, food, cakes, children’s crafting and an Easter Garden Competition.

Get working on your Easter Garden, and bring it along on the day. The  Competition will be judged at 1pm, and our raffle will be drawn at 1.30pm.

We have space for craft stalls at this event. Please contact us directly for enquiries to book stalls.

Easter Garden Competition

This year’s Easter Competition challenge is to create an Easter Garden.

Rules:

• Your garden must be made in a small container such as a shoebox, flower pot, lunchbox, or tray.
• If using real soil or plants, please ensure your container is watertight.
• Be as creative as you like! You can use natural materials, craft supplies, Easter decorations, small toys, or figures — the only limit is your imagination.
• Please write your name on the base of your entry (so it isn’t visible to the judges).

Age Categories:

• 5 years and under Ÿ   6–16 years       Ÿ     Adult     Ÿ

There will be Easter treats for the winners in each category.

Please bring your creation to the Easter Fayre before 1pm, when judging will take place.

We are a collection point for Luosko German Shepherd Dog Rescue. Items can be dropped off on a Thursday between 2pm and 7pm or contact us for drop offs out of thiese times.

They are in need of:

• Dog treats
• Large Stainless steel dog bowls
• Bedding
• Towels
• Washing Powder
• Strong Dog toys
• Items they can sell in their charity shop or use for raffle/ games prizes.
